Chapter One - Where It Began
One brave idea. A whole new community.
In August 2025, Penny Cunliffe conceived a pantomime to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK after her husband Mike's prostate cancer diagnosis. The community embraced the idea, and Three Rivers Acting Society Has-Beens - TRASH Players - was born.

Robin Hood success
Two sell-outs. One wonderful cause.
On 7 February 2026, our afternoon and evening performances of Robin Hood both sold out. Donations and fundraising raised £2,600 for Prostate Cancer UK.

Mostly over 50. Entirely young at heart.
Many of us had not acted since school. With younger helpers alongside us, we have become an ensemble built on laughter, generosity and the thrill of putting on a show together.
